this time I want to take a look at something that nowadays is as famous as the Sistine Chapel… the double monk shoes by Al Bazar.

If you want a reference on how big is the subject you can google the words “Double Monk Shoes” and you’ll have over 4’600’000 results (four and a half million results!!!!! For a piece of menswear… I think it’s a quite interesting figure, don’t you think)

In fairness we are looking at some V.I.P. piece of footwear, quite often seen on very famous style websites such as The Sartorialist, GQ, Leon, but most importantly always worn by Mr. Lino Ieluzzi from the Milanese boutique “Al Bazar”.

I invite you to linger to the beautiful design, the perfection of the sawing, the immense quality of the materials and cure for the details (like the double sawing on the actual strap, the half leather heel, which in Italy is called “sparrow tail heel”).

What can I tell you more about these incredible piece of craftsmanship?

Ancora una volta, ben trovati,

questa volta daremo un’occhiata a qualcosa che è ormai famosa come la Cappella Sistina … le scarpe “Double monk” (doppia fibbia) di “Al Bazar”.

Se volete un riferimento su quanto grande è il fenomeno “double monk” si può andare a cercarlo su google e troverete più di 4’600’000 di risultati (quattro milioni e mezzo di risultati!! Per un paio di scarpe… Penso che sia una cifra molto interessante, non credete?)

In tutta onestà siamo davanti a delle calzature praticamente V.I.P. , molto spesso sono comparse su siti web di men style molto famosi come The Sartorialist, GQ, Leon, ma soprattutto sono le scarpe che indossa il Sig. Lino Ieluzzi dalla boutique milanese “Al Bazar”.
Vi invito a soffermarvi sul bellissimo desig, la perfezione del taglio, la qualità immensa dei materiali e la cura per i dettagli (come la doppia cucitura sulla cinghia, il tallone metà in cuoio, che in Italia si chiama “tacco coda di rondine”).

Cosa posso dirvi di più su questo meraviglioso pezzo di artigianato?
